Our 18" long door handles are handmade in our Greenwood, IN workshop. Perfect for wardrobes, sliding doors, interior non-latching doors, cabinets and more. We set aside the best of our hardwood stock for these handles and we produce them in small batches. After sculpting the wood to shape, each handle goes through an extensive hand sanding process involving three successive grits of sandpaper. Our handles then go through a seven-step hand finishing process that takes 3 days to complete. We use a clear polyurethane that brings out the natural color and beauty of the wood. No stains are used. Hand sanding and buffing between coats results in a silky smooth finish that will stand up to years of daily use.
We offer four different wood species: walnut, mahogany, cherry and white oak.
Walnut has a beautiful, consistent dark brown color and is one of the most sought after wood species.
Mahogany has a tight grain and a dark reddish color. It is by far the most luxurious choice (in our opinion)
Cherry has a light reddish color and a very "natural" look. It will have small bits of black wood grain here and there.
White Oak takes on an amber hue with finish and is the hardest of our four options. We use only quartersawn or riftsawn white oak lumber to avoid the swirly wood grain typically seen in oak.

As wood is a natural material, the wood tone and grain pattern will vary slightly. If you are purchasing more than one, we will be careful to select handles that match as close as possible. If you would like a picture of the actual handles you will receive prior to purchase, we would be happy to do that for you. Just send us a message.
The handles have steel threaded inserts and attach from the rear. We provide you with stainless steel screws in two different lengths: 1.5" and 2". If your project requires a different length screw, any 1/4-20 threaded screw will work. These are readily available at all hardware stores.
Dimensions: Length=18", width= 1 1/4", depth= 2 3/8" (from door to outer edge)
Your handle will be packaged in a custom foam insert (also made by us) to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. These handles are truly a labor of love and we hope you will love them as much as we do
