The Logbook is for people who design and make things. A place to draft the next piece of furniture, product line, or whatever it is you make. No more designing on loose sheets of grid paper that get lost or stuffed in a drawer. The Logbook helps you archive your design ideas. Labeled, organized, and stowed for future reference.  Perfectly sized for drafting at your desk, in the field, or in the workshop. 

Each LOGBOOK is hand pressed in our design studio using archival ink. The front cover has fields for Project Name, Date, and book# to help you organize your designs. But the back of the notebook takes organization to the next level. Storing the notebooks horizontally, you can easily organize your design books by date and/or book number. Use the Contents field to summarize the projects in each book. 

Each book contains 60 pages of 5mm grid paper. Dimensions: 4" wide X 5.5" tall

The LOGBOOK crate stores up to 48 books horizontally, the way they were designed to be stored. This allows you to utilize the info on the back of the notebook and flip through them with ease. Each crate is made in our own wood shop, right here in the U.S.A.

The backstory:

After years of designing everything from furniture ideas to floor plans, 99% of my designs are gone. Drawn on loose sheets of paper that end up disorganized and discarded. Those ideas and unique drawings are valuable assets. I needed a way to not only organize them but ARCHIVE them. The notebook needed to be large enough to draft designs, but small enough to carry in the workshop or the field. Not too many pages, so I don't end up with 100 different projects in the same book. It had to be utilitarian. Not wrapped in leather or dipped in gold. Something I could take in the workshop. Get it dusty, creased, and scribbled on. And most importantly, it had to be cheap enough to buy in bulk. For me, the Logbook checks all of those boxes while offering built in organization.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
