Maple Brace Legs, dining height, set of 4

The Brace Leg is inspired by architectural brackets, or "braces", which are designed to carry heavy loads while providing aesthetic appeal.  Its familiar, yet pared back, form bridges the gap between traditional and modern.  Every Brace Leg is produced in our Greenwood, Indiana workshop with the same attention to detail that we give to our complete furniture pieces.  These legs have been designed to attach easily to any wood tabletop, using just 2 screws per leg (included). Installing the Brace legs at a slight angle creates a rigid base and eliminates the need for a stretcher or additional bracing.  Each set can easily support 300 pounds when attached properly to a rigid top. Brace Legs are suitable for both dining tables and desks.

Choose from two finish options:

UNFINISHED: Bare wood that has been sanded and is ready for your choice of stain, clear coat, or paint. The top of the leg is a convenient place to test stain colors if you are trying to match an existing tabletop. 

FINISHED: We will apply two coats of clear polyurethane which brings out the natural color of the wood and gives it a sheen. Finished legs will be ready to install straight out of the box.

Maple is a light colored wood with a tight grain pattern. It has a very light, clean look with just a polyurethane clear coat. It does not accept stains as well as other wood species.
